Very widespread and versatile antennas consisting of a dipole, which is fed via an intermediate piece of parallel wire. At the end of the 450 Ω parallel wire any length 50Ω coax cable can be connected. The SWR on these bands is between 1:1 and 1:4, so a tuner is usually required. The antenna tuners built into the radios should be sufficient in terms of impedance range, so that an additional tuner is not required in most cases. On the WARC bands, the antenna can of course also be adjusted via a tuner, although higher impedances must be expected. The antennas can also be mounted with a bend or the ends of the legs can be angled downwards if space is limited. The parallel wire feed should hang freely if possible.
